BMA Bridging Induction

Are there any prerequisites to do the course?

Yes. This course is only suitable for contractors who have previously completed a mining induction course and hold a Statement of Attainment for the six prescribed units of competency aligned to Recognised Standard 11.

On successful completion of the BMA Bridging Induction course you will receive the following documentation:

How much does the course cost?

The BMA Bridging Induction course costs $280 per contractor.

What time do I need to arrive to the course?

Please ensure to arrive for registration by 7:30am.

What time does the course finish?

The course will finish at approximately 5:00pm.

What do I need to bring to the course?

You must wear enclosed shoes and comfortable clothing. Photo identification is also required. The BMA Fit for Work Policy applies to attendance on this program.

What happens if I can’t attend on the day?

Do I need to complete a site induction after this course?

If you are working at a BMA mine site, you will need to attend a site induction that will train you in site-specific information and standard operating procedures (SOPs) relevant to the site and your role. Please contact your BMA site contact to organise a site induction once you have completed the BMA Core Induction.
